Heating cables

Description

Category: Induction equipment
Art. number: 300045

Heating cable. Available lengths:
  • 30 ft. (300045)
  • 50 ft. (300046)
  • 80 ft. (300047)
  • 140 ft. (300048)
  • 160 ft. (300566)

The heating cable ensures heat transfer. The silicone hose contains a special copper conductor, specifically designed to handle high-frequency current for optimal efficiency. The hose also carries the coolant that cools the copper conductor. The hose is reinforced for a long lifespan.

Output cables

Description

Category: Induction equipment
Art. number: 300180

Output cable. Available lengths:

  • 10 ft. (300180)
  • 25 ft. (195402)
  • 50 ft. (195403)
  • 75 ft. (300598)

The output extension cable connects the liquid-cooled heating cable to the induction unit. Two red coupling hoses are always supplied with the output cable.

Rolling Inductor

Description

Art. number: 301117
Proheat rolling inductor, incl. output cable.

The rolling inductor can be used on the Proheat™ 35. This application is specifically designed to preheat moving objects during welding. Due to the inductor’s compact and flexible design, this reduces setup time and costs. Through localized heat application, minimal power is lost, resulting in rapid heating. The Rolling inductor is ideal for use with pipe spools in the manipulator. It is possible to connect 2 Rolling inductors to 1 Proheat™ 35, with the 45kW power being distributed proportionally. Materials can be heated up to 315⁰C.

50kVA Unit

Description

Delta Heat Services has developed various units for electric preheating and heat treatment. The main units used for this purpose are the 50kVA units. This is due to their mobility and functionality. These units distribute the incoming power across flexible resistance mats from 60 to 220/240 Volt. These are 6-channel units that can individually control 6 thermocouples.

There is also an option to connect an automatic control unit for more precise control of the heat treatment procedure. A temperature recorder can be added for process registration. This can now be done both analogically and digitally.

The 50 kVA units are extremely suitable for local preheating and heat treatment.

Automation and Recording Equipment

Description

To control and monitor the preheating and annealing process, we work with the most accurate automation systems and recorders. These can be supplied separately or built into the 50kVA unit. We have various automation systems available, ranging from local operation to remote control of the equipment. This can be done individually per channel or by choosing automation systems that can control multiple units. Entirely depending on what best suits the customer’s requirements.

To record the annealing process, we work with analog or digital recorders. These can be monitored remotely and a digital report can be generated. Depending on requirements, this can be in a 6-, 12-, 18-, or 24-channel recorder.

Cables

Description

Triple cable set, 25mm2 copper, 185A, 25m long.

Delta Heat Services offers a complete range of cables. These are suitable for power supply and for controlling and recording the process. Our power cables are available in sizes from 16mm2 to 25mm2. We can equip these with Camlok and Dinse connectors.

Our control and registration cables, such as compensation cables and thermocouple wire, can be supplied in various types. These cables are manufactured to the highest standards to ensure the most accurate and safe working environment.

Elements

Description

Art. number: 40005
254 x 210 mm, 60V, 2.7kW

Our elements are the components that endure the most stress during the heating process. They must be able to withstand high temperatures, be wear-resistant yet flexible. This is necessary to heat the workpiece as efficiently as possible. Our standard elements are designed to withstand temperatures of 1050⁰C. We supply elements from 60 volts up to 240 volts and from 1.35 kW up to 13.2 kW per unit.

For preheating, we have special FIP (Flexible Insulated Preheaters) elements. These are equipped with insulation and a stainless steel back plate. This is necessary to protect the welder from the heat of the element and to insulate the workpiece.
